This all came to my attention during a meeting I had with Mr. Bon. The tedious and boring 30 minutes (just kidding) came up with a very necessary conclusion about my need for a solution to this time management problem (as you may have noticed by the time which I am writing this, I still haven’t come up with a solution). One of the things that I have noticed is that I tend to procrastinate when I don’t have that many things to do, like when I only have one homework assignment and I leave it for the end of the night, but when I have a 5 homework assignments, I get right on task. It’s crazy because I can finish one homework assignment in 30 minutes, and yet I don’t do it. Is it because I over-trust that I will finish the assignment, and leave it to the last minute? Usually these little tasks are the ones that I end up having the most struggle with because I leave the towards the end of the night, and then I’m tired, so I leave them for the morning. Morning turns to break, and break turns to lunch. Eventually it never gets done. Is this laziness, lack or organization, bad time management?
Procrastination is something I really need to work on; it stops me from achieving everything I am capable of. With better time management I can get to do a lot of things I set myself to do, and maybe be even be good at them. Anyways, this blog doesn’t end with a solution but more with a never ending reflection, am I managing my time well?
