Now that the semester is coming to a wrap, I have been looking over my past blog posts and I have realised that I have spent more time on the titles than on the actual content. Actually all my content comes from the title, not the other way around. Why do titles matter so much, or at least, why do they matter so much to me?
The minds always labels things, it's the way it is taught to work. A table is a table. A chair is a chair. A BREAKTHROUGH MAGAZINE IS A BREAKTHROUGH MAGAZINE (On sale for $15, get yours NOW!) And when you label something, it comes with a description. A chair can't be a chair without 4 legs. A Breakthrough Magazine can't be a Breakthrough Magazine without exclusive NEVER-BEFORE-SEEN content including Santiago Gavidia originals!!! All jokes aside, when we use our brains to much and try to find an explanation for everything it just loses the essence of it all.
For the longest time I think I tried to find a reason for everything, but sometimes we just have to feel. Like my favourite movie, Big Fish. It's not the best movie ever, it's won like no awards, but it made me feel something at a point in my life that made it just stick to me. If I were to get in to the details of why I find it so good then I will just get lost and end up maybe not liking it that much.
Its like the titles, I don't know why but at one point I found them beautiful, and they made me feel something hard enough for me to express it into words. Thats why their important. Not because their a label, but because their the essence of the whole thing.
