This week, more than any other, I have been free to schedule most of my time and to work independently on the class project. On thursday, my partner went off on an interview which unfortunately I couldn't attend because I forgot to have my mom email the school about me leaving during class hours. Basically left in class to figure out what to do for the next three hours, I quickly realized how I couldn't stay on task. I wrote questions to sent to my partner so that she could interview, after that I went on facebook. I started researching a bit, back on facebook. It was like as if I couldn't concentrate on one thing for more than 20 minutes. Fortunately, I got work done and I finished with questions and a research about our company's more financial side (we have been focusing alot on work climate). I guess what I want to say is the independence, something we strive and fight for (especially at our age), comes with a lot of responsibility. If we are not responsible, and use our freedom poorly, then we are just wasting time.
I start of with a question, basically because it has been concerning me all week. Am I on task?

Santiago, this is a very good blog post! You reflect in detail about what it means to be on task! Make sure that you are not telling a story, try to tell less and show more! Maybe you could separate your text into smaller chunks to keep the reader engaged, an image would also help. Still I like how your writing is very personal, I like this line "I guess what I want to say is the independence, something we strive and fight for (especially at our age), comes with a lot of responsibility. " Very true, Keep it up!

Santi, we were just talking about time management in class and it's essential that we find a useful strategy to get things done. For some, it's really hard to focus in school but maybe try finding a quiet space in school (like the PAC) and don't take your cellphone so you have less distractions!
