I think it's quite cheesy that I'm writing about my mom, especially since it's mother's day, but I feel like it's long overdue. I don't want to go through the usual route, the you-had-me-inside-you-for-9-months or the you-taught-me-everything-I-know route, although both are quite accurate. I guess I'll start by saying that I love your questioning. From the start I’ve been questioned, and it’s never been an attack. You know how some questions seem like their attacking you, like they are trying to break you, yet yours challenge but understand, understand the person and whatever they are going through. Question people but be understanding. And this leads me to the way you showed me to love. Love, not in the I hug and kiss, and live and breathe for you every second, but in it’s true essence. To love someone enough to be honest to them when they are doing something wrong, and question them, yet always understand and support them. Love someone that you don’t change them, everyone is their own person. People. You have a huge understanding of people. That’s another one of your teachings. Don’t be quick to judge, especially with people you don’t know, mostly because there is a lot you DON’T know. We are all living our own stories, and most of them don’t float on the surface so that we can see. Im thankful. Not because you have done everything to make me a better person, because there is always something more we can do, but because you taught me to question and to understand, and that has made me a better person.

AWW! tenderoni, great blog post! I love how you write in such a short, concise way, yet always reflecting. You have the ability to express your feelings in not many words, which is something worth mentioning. Your writing flows easily, and it keeps the reader intrigued. Keep it up!

Tenderoni! I love the way you've expressed yourself in this post. There's this expectation that we have of those who love us: they must accept us just the way we are. I used to think so too. But in reality the one who love us are those who go out of their way and challenge us to be the best versions of ourselves. Those people are priceless. This last sentence sums it nicely:
